@castro198227 I'm a proud White racial separatist myself, & there is nothing Garvey did or said that I disagree with. Unlike King who became more interested in multi-culturalism, or X who became more interested in the spread of Islam.... Garvey saw his race & his blood as his faith & his religion. He didn't preach "assimilation" or "equality" ... he preached racial independence. He was against interracial crossbreeding & had many right solutions to the race problem.

He had no other prominent African American or Caribbean leaders on his side. His loneliness in the struggle for true justice for the Black race confined him to an invisible corner where he was badgered by White Racists and Blacks who didn't believe he was correct let alone sane. He was severely misunderstood and this misunderstanding made him belligerent and angry and ultimately ineffective. Its a shame because he was the REAL DEAL. We'll never have another Garvey. America shitted on out freedom
