Tony's TV show was the funniest variety show of the 70s. The premise: the girls criticize and ridicule Tony. They got a lot of mileage out of that.

Didn't realize how much Jemaine Clement from Flight of the Conchords looks like Tony. Put some thick glasses on Tony, and there you go!

@buddimack Mine as well. I still remember singing Candida while riding my bicycle the first year I rode a bike, back in Nov. 1969 - Nov. 1970 (when I was 6 years old). For some reason one of the best and yes, easiest of artists tunes to sing while riding a bike in the 1970's was definitely Tony Orlando & Dawn's tunes. Must have been how great of vocalist they were.
