(Richard Starkey)

It don't come easy,
You know it don't come easy.

It don't come easy,
You know it don't come easy.

Got to pay your dues if you wanna sing the blues,
And you know it don't come easy.
You don't have to shout or leap about,
You can even play them easy.

Forget about the past and all your sorrows,
The future won't last,
It will soon be over tomorrow.

I don't ask for much, i only want your trust,
And you know it don't come easy.
And this love of mine keeps growing all the time,
And you know it just ain't easy.

Open up your heart, let's come together,
Use a little love
And we will make it work out better.

(ah -)
(ah -)
(ooh-ooh)
(ah-ooh-ooh)

Got to pay your dues if you wanna sing the blues,
And you know it don't come easy.
You don't have to shout or leap about,
You can even play them easy.

Peace, remember peace is how we make it,
Here within your reach
If you're big enough to take it.

I don't ask for much, i only want your trust,
And you know it don't come easy.
And this love of mine keeps growing all the time,
And you know it don't come easy.

  • Ringo was the smartest Beatle of them all . He knew his place , didn't take it all too seriously , and will be the last man standing .

  • Someone in the thread said "Ringo wasn't needed". Seriously? Ringo was exactly what Paul, John, and George needed. And they knew it. Long live Ringo!!!

  • @DAVPK1 Its not like the other guys brought on their deaths... john was assassinated by a mental patient and george had cancer.

  • @bevandjohntube You are right on with that comment. Paul recently said that Ringo was the back bone of the group. He set the tone and the rest followed.

  • some people say that ringo doesnt play the drums well. And they are right, because he plays AWSOMELY! y think that without Ringo the Beatles would not exist as today we know it.

    LONG LIVE RINGO!

  • @tranurse 1hour 30min drive to B'ham. and just a litte farther to Tuscaloosa Amphitheater Our chance to see one of the Beatles.I'm putting in for vacation at work to guarantee I'm off.

  • @ndhudecz i'm in atlanta, hmmmmmm not too far away.....

  • Ringo Starr booked for July 3 concert at Tuscaloosa Amphitheater – The Birmingham News – al.com

    I'm going to that one...

  • I think Ringo and George were the "Glue" That held together the crazyness that was The Beatles (Mainly John and his "Anticks":)

    But I love them all!!

    RIP John + George

    Peace and Love :)

  • I think that is Stephen Stills on lead guitar, so I have read. Sweet sound!

  • I never really grew up a Beatles Fan, but... I can honestly say that I appreciate the awesomeness that is Ringo Starr. Never knew who made this song until recently, which I'm sure is a capital offence, but... I don't care. I'm glad I found out who did this song, I'm glad I've listened to this song, and I'm not sorry to say that I'm more a fan of Ringo here than I am of Lennon, Harrison, or McCartney.

  • This tune is so well produced,Great sound! A Ringo classic.
