My Amiga 500 with external hard and floppy drive + surprisingly quiet original floppy drive. Connected to 37" LCD TV with A520 modulator using composite output.

  • I am surprised to see your LCD tv is supporting the 50hz signal of the A500. Most modern LCD tv's cannot do that.

  • @Snowwie88 Actually my TV does not support Amiga's video signal, I have A520 tv-modulator and I'm using composite out. Picture quality is not too good but enough for few-times-a-year Dynablaster playing :D

  • cool i also own a500 with rapid 4mb ram and kickstart II , cant find the damn modulator, i found 2 on ebay but missed the auction, thinking to buy hard drive as well

Considering an Amiga 500 is only putting out a resolution of 320x240 don't feel to bad about the medium quality.

I use the WinAUE emulator, and it allows to double the scanlines, creating an acceptable 640x480 resolution.

Pity there is hardly any option of putting an CF card as a harddrive inside an Amiga 500.

  • The past, the present and the future with Amiga !! :)

  • It sure is!
