@trotchye It was BIG. It swam as fast as it could down stream, almost pulled the rod out of my hand and went under a rock, snapping the line

What were you using? Like a copper john or something? And what time of year are you fishing in when there's still snow and the rainbows are really colorful? Thnx

About three months ago I was fishing with my dad in the nevada side of the truckee, and the browns were spawning. He caught three HUGE rainbows that were abot 24" and 5 pounds. Then at sunset i hooked and lost a 7 pound brown trout in the same pool, and I'm only 11, and it was my 2nd time flyfishing :)

They're wild alright, fight like made. You can tell when they're planters, they're fins are all jacked and they don't have any red.

I fabricated a simple aluminum bracket which I bite down on, the camera is at the level of my jaw and I'm able to film anything I'm looking at from a true 1st person perspective. Thanks for the comment!
