  • Is it hard to fly a wrights brothers plane? It doesn't look that complicated to fly.

  • It is about the hardest airplane in the world to fly, thank you for asking.

  • keep up the good work. I would like to see it above the trees one day. what kind of engine are you using?

  • VW Rabbit Diesel. I can use biodiesel and I smell like a "happy meal".

  • less than 20 grand in donated and purchased materials.

the labor was mainly my own, but many people helped out for free.

  • Overall, how much did this project cost you?

  • Wow! I would love to be in your shoes. That looks like it's modeled from the 1905 plane. What are you using for an engine?

How comfortable are you with the controls? I was wondering how responsive the wing warping was. I know the elevator control is suppose to be very sensitive.

  • try putting a more powerful engine in there, or two small ones, and see if you can actually stay aloft for a longer time.

    Great machine.

  • yess i greed!!!!!

  • you are such an inspiration i love your plane keep on soring
