From near the town of Boring, Oregon, to commemorate the new year, I had a special assistant give me my first-ever backside injection of Avonex, which is used to slow the progression of multiple sclerosis.

We have to keep our spirits up in spite of all that we have to deal with, right. I have been taking Avonex for nearly 13 years now, so that comes out to be shot #663 for me this past week.

That's all I can do, find ways to keep my spirits up while putting up with this disease (although my case is mild) and putting up with a weekly shot. Unlike in this video, I usually do it myself and it's not so quick and easy ... but it's still better than progression. I'm thankful to know Avonex is working for you and still tolerable after all your 13 years ... thanks for commenting!
