That was sick! To get the engine sound so clear without overbearing wind noise did you have to stick a mic in the engine bay or was it just the camera's mic?

@cryo9444 Hi thanks there there is a hole in the bumper with a piece of clear plastic over it and the camera behind it, so no wind noise.

Is he "rev matching" into a higher gear for his next take of? If so, why before the turn? Isn't there a turning advantage to staying in low gear to prevent over-stear?

@fartsypooperoni if you listen to 0:15 that is rev match down into 3rd and only 2,3,4 are used on this track in that car

Rev matching saves your transmission like for real guys. I rev match downshifting though town. Lol.

@fartsypooperoni its rev matched into a lower gear not higher, I don't understand the 2nd question about the final rev sounding...maybe you mean the sound of the gear change? The camera is behind the bumper right next to the transmission so I'm sure its just sounds you don't usually get to hear

What is the final "rev sounding" that you can hear as be approaches each turn? And, what is its function/purpose? Anyone know about racing here? Otherwise, please help make take a gander.
