A Tribute to Northern Exposure Vol. 2

Northern Exposure 2 was released in 1997. In the United Kingdom, it was released by Ministry of Sound as a double CD package, whereas in the United States, it was on Ultra Records as two separate CDs — a "West Coast Edition" and an "East Coast Edition".

The first CD is a gorgeous down tempo/break beat mix in the same vein as the first CD of NE1. The mood and atmosphere is different however. Whereas NE1 CD1 was earthy, organic, and spiritual, the first CD of NE2 is jazzier, funkier, more melancholic, and near the end, more euphoric.
The second CD is the more danceable of the two CDs, with some of the best progressive house tracks of the era/ever.

Still not a patch on NE 1, technically anyway. But with regards to the mood, that's anyones opinion, and I just prefer the organic and fresh sound of NE 1 :o)

Ne1 was seminal - ne2 picks up right where they left off - bought this in 98 still doing rounds on my iPod to this day - little bullet and netherworld the standouts here

I've owned all the Northern Exposure albums for years and years and these tracks always have been my favorites out of the whole bunch.
