@EdwardEnto The english subs are in annotations. If you didn't see them, it probably means there was a glitch and the annotations didn't show up for some reason. Try rewatching the video and see if they appear.

You lied. There are no English subs.
-
@MrMegasaurass You can get English patches for the games from the Touhou wiki. Just google it.

You're Japanese? How do you know English so well? (just curious)
I'm from Chugoku but i live in America...

Did you also score some sweet doujins while you were there?
You know...the ones that you can scan on your computer and then sell the limited ones for like 3x the original price :T

Subtitle fail

@SuperKaizoku1138 Who does that? I can assure you that the fandom between the two is completely different.

Thanks for this. I see a lot of people who compare the Brony/MLP craze to Touhou and I had no idea what it was, and this video clears things up quite nicely.

Look, it's very simple.
How many fans of anime, trance music, adult games, fighting games, cosplay, and fanart are there?
And how many fans of nerve-snappingly punishing shooting games are there?
Y'think that maybe, just maybe, a pretty significant majority simply *prefers* not to think of Tohou as a danmaku?

You can download all of the games for free, and English patched, on the Internetz if you look :D
I went to Comiket 80 2 days ago and I bought a copy of Touhou 13, Ten Desires!
I'm very happy with this,(sadly it wasn't handed by ZUN himself though, but I got close to him by 1 meter), I'm SO gonna play it, expecting I beat Hard difficulty soon.

You can always buy original Touhou games and the derivatives via internet mail order service even from outside Japan. Yes, it's true that the most "direct" way to get the copy is to go to Comiket (I've been there a few times), but there are also a lot of stores specialized for dealing indie games (e.g. Toranoana, Melonbooks etc) accepting mail orders. I've also put links at the description above dealing imported Japanese indie games. I got the copies via mail orders. Well I'm a Japanese anyway.
