NLP - The Comedy News Deception 1 of 2

The Niles Lesh Project - NLP - explores the phenomenon of infotainment. The alarming trend of how many people get their news from comedy shows like: SNL, Bill Mahr, The Daily Show, The Colbert Report
and the Onion. Most viewer cannot tell where the comedy ends and the News begins. The producers of these shows have the perfect out when they differ to saying its not news it comedy. It really is a synthesis of both Comedy and news. Lies mixed with the truth for a comic effect. What if there was an additional agenda behind the comedy, such as blurring the truth, disinformation, obfuscation and subversion ?

I have been looking for a video like this. It is so true. The "comedy" (which usually isn't even funny) disarms people and opens them more to the programming. Stewart and Colbert are really good at this. Have you seen the video where this Mahr asshole kicks out 9-11 truthers from his show?

@gracistabu Yes, I alway thought that the "truthers" were planted in the audience, because Mahr charged at them so quickly seemingly unafraid of them. He did not act surprized it was almost like he was cued.

Well, the USPS works in terms of service , as a business entity they were making money up to about 2007, but yes recently like most companies they are bleeding badly, of course they will need to lose money for the next 40 years to equal the failure of Amtrak

The main stream media (MSM) is sketchy at best(haha)Many people have become aware of the agendas that MSM must follow because of their corporate ownership.

However, I made this video because I felt that show like SNL, Real Time, Daily Show were getting a free pass.

These shows could make a joke about that stupid Sarah Palin and then insert disinformation into the joke(like the Tina Fey skits with Palin stating that she could see Alaska from her house)

Dude, I trust the standup comics over Rupert Murdoch and all those Wall Street and Washington commentator stooges passing for investigative journalists. The comics have one thing on the 'journalists' and think tank lobbyists. As long as the comics make money, what they put out is generally left alone. As long as there ain't no White House Comic's corp like the WH Press corp I'll feel that way.
