I'm here in Miami Beach's Lincoln Road. I thought I would take the camera out and ask some people what they thought of our new President and his first moves in office. Here is one of those debates with someone regarding the Environment.

Oh yeah? Whats so fallacious about my arguement? Im simply stating that instead of getting crude oil from foreign countrys why not just drill for it on our own soil? It would drive down prices because almost 75% of gasoline prices comes from how much you originally pay for crude oil. Ther rest is taxes and refinery charges. If you drill for oil on your own turf, then the prices of crude oil and taxes go down because your not importing it from countrys as far off as the middle east.

@oblivion292 Wrong argiument. Canada, particularly Alberta has oil but the price of gas is as high as America's.

And also, do not forget that a murder is a murder... Hamas are trying to kill as much as possible... a fact that they are proud of... i believe one of the problems with renewables is that additional steps would be required for the transfer of energy. not being a mechanical expert, i'm not certain, but it seems logical. this would add to it's costs and reliability.

superpp, drilling offshore and in AK has less to do about price of oil than it does with ending americas ties to OPEC..

Perhaps since there'll be another source of oil (especially if it's not part of the OPEC cartel), it provides more competition in the market. More competition leads to lower prices. But i guess that all depends on the quality of the oil they pump out too.

Obama has Muslims in his family. How great to have a President who can understand the complex issues or Muslim-Israeli relations.

All the people Mason talks to on the streets make more sense than he does....so great.....
