  • Actually both versions were after Joe Brown's version

  • If this doesn't give an idea where Mike Myers came up with Austin Powers....nothing does!

  • I like the song and Ian did a great job. Thanks for the entertainment and sharing the video.

  • He sure does. I love this version. Ian is so entertaining. Loads of fun.

  • this guy had some presence on stage ...coulda been a corpse next to him I wouldn'ta noticed. I can't help but think that so many other artists from back then borrowed greatly from his stage mannerisms.

  • Ian Whitcomb does a fine job on this song.

  • Never heard of this dude before but found a reference to him on a showbill on You Tube's " Nuggets from the Liverpool Five (Part 1)" where there is some fantastic material by my mother's favorite band.

  • i love this song!! makes me laugh, he has so much fun!

  • Better version than Herman and the Hermits (Peter Noone) .... really. Not trashing their version but I love Ian Whitcomb's voice and stage presence.

  • I can't believe how much fun it looks like this guy is having.

  • An absolute Pearler.

    5*****.

  • Haha nice ..

  • But wasn't austin powers in the seventies?

I thought this was the sixties era.
