@imanoob4 you can get a mob spawner if you create a server and play multiplayer mode. if you then type (If you make yourself an op):
/give playername 52
go to minecraft wiki for more info (search in google or some thing)

@LordDazzer if the iteams do get destroyed the what about putting it next to the monster in the trap so it can both drown and get hurt from the cacti then maybe the items wont touch the cactus and wont get destroyed

@imanoob4 Dig around. They're usually found in underground caves.

next one make a really deep hole under them and let them keep falling and then u could have shit load of resorces or feather or w/e :3

@akwsmack I could, but the point is to make the smallest / most compact while effective trap I could make. Check out my 2nd trap for a slightly larger but more effective trap.
