yeahh GNR is terrible. Chinese New Year was just proof of that.

Led Zepp is tolerable at the very best.

both dont deserve to be called metal.

Lamb Of God on the other hand is a very skilled,both instumentally and lyrically, american metal band. they have incredible guitar work and solos, great precussion, and one of the best damn metal singers ever to pic up a mic.

Zeppelin just cant compare.

@JosephThePenguin Okay, I'm going to have to agree and disagree. Lamb of God is for sure one of my favorite bands, if not my favorite. Guns and Roses is one of my least favorites. But, Zeppelin is right up there. Their music is still kick ass today, just as it was 40 years ago. Of course they aren't on the same level of instrumentals that LoG is, but that is also because they're 40 years old. Led Zeppelin is much more than tolerable.

@JosephThePenguin dude, just be thankful of Zepp, Ozzy, Sabbath, AC DC, KISS, Motley Crue etc.. because without them we wouldn't have what we have today. I'm just asking for you to just be respectful and thankful that they did what they did because even though they don't sound like the metal we have today doesn't mean that they aren't metal.

In summary people, you have to not only recognize their talentry of their musicianship, but how they were using their music in thier time period. There are a lot of guitarists better than Jimmi Hendrix right now...but Jimmi was doing it when what he was doing wasn't even heard of. Lamb of God is incredibly talented and they've been at it that almost any modern metal band would say lamb of god helped them acquire their sound

alright, everyone agrees that metal kicks ass... as does LOG. and Led Zeppelin, etc bands are soft rock and not as fun to listen to, but you're ignorant to say that the legends of the 70's and 80's aren't more talented that Lamb of God.

@JosephThePenguin well from the musicianship and skill perspective, Led Zeppelin are far better. Anyone who knows anything about how to play music knows that. From an overall good band perspective, Lamb of God wins, just cuz they KICK ASS. So I agree that Lamb of God are a better band, but let's get real, Led Zeppelin are legends.

Freddy Mercury is amazing but i think hes a little overrated, Robert Plant is better in my opinion

i think only Jimi Hendrix is better than Jimmy Page

John Bonham is the best of all, but for me if anyone can be better its Dave Lombardo

and i never said John Paul Jones is the best bass player, hes one of the ebst but Steve Harris, Les Claypool, Cliff Burton, Alex Webster and more are better

i like metal bands alot more, but i know that Led Zepp are the greatest band ever
