I second that emotion! I'd include Robert Ryan in that group too. I don't know about Richard's military record but I I know Lee & Robert served with distinction in the Marines during WWII...in fact, Lee was actually wounded.

Yup. Lee Marvin is one of the best 50's tough guy Cops. Second only to Broderick Crawford. He's Top Dog, in My Book.
