Insider/Outsider
Who is on the inside or who is on the outside? The Garage is hosting artists that work on different sides of the fence. Some of the artists are formally trained and some are self-taught; both groups reflecting low brow" or folk outcomes, but not always intentionally. This show presents a survey of artists from various generations, from different parts of the globe that have either adopted the outsider esthetic or were born into it.
