  • Saw 2010 at the Ontario Place Cinesphere back in '84 70mm 6 Track

presentation was impressive! 70mm Print was quite good. These

days digital 2K/4K Projection just can't equal 24FPS 70MM Film.

  • @brianthehowe This was not hip hop. I didn't hear one person mention gangs or drugs.

  • One voted down and that can only be HAL9000 to make one illogical negative thumb down vote of poor decision.

  • The Empire Leicester square is so tight ass now with digital 3D projection they don’t do 70mm rare showings anymore! Al they’d rather have is digital where DNR has been applied to the image along with EE as I have witnessed first hand on one digital presentation, never again will I watch rubbish digital cinema of classic films! They still have Phillips DP70 but disconnected. What fucking use is it being disconnected!?

  • Was this the original 70mm 6track mag with five-screen and mono surround as the re-mix condenses all the wild wide crazy dialogue panning down to the centre channel with very little dialogue panning hard panning and half panning between left-centre and right-centre. Remixes do not preserve the theatrical Road Show releases of 70mm prints they kill them!

This is one film I'd like to see in original 6track mag 70mm on huge THX sound system with big THX sound and big THX screen size!

  • that was cool

  • Amazingly well edited. I haven't seen the film but this makes me want to!

  • Why am I only now learning of this!!!!

  • Can't wait to see this at Lightbox.
