Themis (2007) Marco Gastine (from BBC's My Country Greece - 2010)

One in every ten Greek citizens goes to court at least once a year. Therefore, filming the courts not only provides a portrait of local justice but also portrays Greek society. This is the documentary's wager. This is the first time a camera enters the Athens Court of First Instance and records civil and penal trials.

Και μετά κάνουν απεργία οι δικηγόροι γιατί δεν θέλουν τα συνεναιτικά διαζύγια να βγαίνουν στο συμβολαιογράφο (θα χάσουν το μερτικό τους βλέπεις) αλλά να καθυστερούν τα δικαστήρια και με αυτό. Το ότι οι δικαστές ζητάνε και αυτοί να στα δικαστήρια η συνεναιτική διευθέτηση διαζυγίου, δείχνει την κατάντια μας
