This is a very short, but AWESOME (very rare) 1984 Lindsey Buckingham interview (to promote his great 1984 solo album ~ Go Insane)!!

Please note: In order to be allowed to post this particular video, I had to edit out the songs ~ Trouble, Holiday Road, and Go Insane. I'm pretty sure that if I would have kept them in, they would have all been sited.

Thanks to my pal ~ Matt for giving me this particular video!! (: ~ http://www.youtube.com/user/CrypticWriter

  • Should men be that beautiful?

  • I know. He's a VERY good looking man!! (:

  • When MTV did interview's!!!

  • I know. (lol) (:

  • Tell me. Is "Go insane" any good? I love "out of the cradle" and his two latest offerings. Do not like "Law and order".

  • I LOVE everything that he does!! (lol) With that said though, I do like Go Insane, but I prefer Law And Order over it. Out Of The Cradle is my all-time fave solo album !! (:

  • Somebody please post the original video of Go Insane please...

  • i miss the old mtv

  • @Patriciameadows not if they want to survive in the wild

  • so this was between mirage and tango in the night right? I think he still had this hair style in the big love vid ^_^

haven't listened to much solo lindsey yet (it's hard to find on youtube and almost impossible to find in stores here)

  • Unfortunately the only available version of the original 'Go Insane' single on youtube is the Miami Vice clip where it's used as background music for Don Johnson's pool game. The others are slow acoustic versions which are pretty boring by comparison.

  • @edurtsnah Go Insane is the most dated sounding of his releases. More electronic than Law and Order and Out of the Cradle, certainly. That said, I absolutely loved it when it came out. "I Want You" has an INSANE hook and "Go Insane" is pop radio for hip people. The "DW suite" which ends the album is an homage to Beach Boys and dedicated to Dennis Wilson who had just passed away. It is very ambitious and beautiful.

  • @edurtsnah A very belated reply, but yes. I'd say it is better than "out of the cradle". The songs may not be quite as good, but the style and sound of it are much more interesting

  • HE'S SO COOL!!!!!! Notice he's got that's rad twitches just like Michael J. Fox? Ha!

"Challenge the listener" - Buckingham knows the deal.

  • Go Insane is the best if you like Tusk you'll probably like Go Insane

  • Ahh siempre supe que era Muy Guapo . yq ue sera de el ....Me gustaba su cancion problemas =)
