@lilbeaveymac, actually, it's a ravaging illness that's taking the toll, on people from all walks of life.

Quite frankly, the gay community of SF acted stupidly at the onset of the epidemic. They defied the CDC's recommendations time and again yet still had the audacity to claim that those in the medical community were not helping them enough. The 11th hour is not the time to suddenly find faith in the evil healthcare system and expect a miraculous outcome.

I believe that World History is a reflection of the thoughts, actions and words, of Human Beings. Therefore, I have chosen to be a positive addition to History. [However, I'm not a saint/far from perfect].

In June 2012, for my 15th Year, I will participate in an event to benefit the S.F. AIDS Foundation called AIDSLifeCycle. Each year, I bike 575 miles (from S.F to L.A, CA.). And, I complete the ride knowing I did the right thing.

@lilbeaveymac do you realize that many people get HIV while they are in committed relationships they don't get tested because they think there not at risk or it will never happen to them (GAY OR STRAIGHT) people are not born with AIDS they are born with HIV... BIG DIFFERENCE and because of anti retroviral therapy people don't die from AIDS these days not even babies or kids who take HIV medicine. Science has come a long way you know.. but hey STIGMA & FEAR hasn't....... thats a SHAME..

Not homosexuality but rather sodomy is takings is toll on health. Vaginal sex is much safer than anal sex.

when a kid is born with aids thats not his fault-true

but when two men buttfuck without protection and swap fecal matter the risk increases

so the gays know better just as a women that sleeps around alot.

most people get aids because of irresponsible behavior.....

Way to go to those who work to stop the spread of HIV.
