Teresa Schroeder's journey into Peru to heal quadriplegia using an indigenous Mochican technique and Amazonian plant medicines. She blogs her story at http://www.peruvianproject.org/ Song: Cross Bones Style by Cat Power
Very cool!! Kudos to Teresa for taking on this task, Amanda for following her sis down this awesome path, the folks at the rehabilitation center, Mom Jen for being supportive and involved, and to all the great people and plants of Peru! Oh, and Cat Power, well she just rules...:-)
This would have been a fantastic documentary. Great content and that song is hauntingly beautiful. This left me feeling so intrigued, i want to know her story, how she found out about Peru, I want to know what that plant is and how the therapy works. But most of all I want to know if it worked. Great job....this should be entered in a short film festival.
