Who cares if it sounds similar to Dylan? Donovan is Scottish, and his songs are British folk, through and through. The message is what counts anyways, bring back these times, the world seems so lost now. Peace n Love

So want some good tabs for this song. I had to make up my own :P
-
The guy with the cowboy hat on is Derroll Adams 'the banjo man' He was an enormous influence on Donovan.

@fanchbrezoneg the picking pattern too. but maybe it wasnt Dylans either. maybe its a classic ballad style
-
@MrRyanillingworth y and also to girl from the nothern country, strange. The picking pattern is also quite similar
-
nice video and nice song, but melody is a robbery of Dylan's "Girl of the North Country" and 'Boots of Spanish Leather".

@pfgnyc85 tru dat

People is just confused, Dylan and Donovan seem to get the same style, guys who dont understand music think Donovan ripped off Dylan, I'm sure that people who said that haven't even listened to the whole collection of records from both artists, cheers.

thank you for posting this-one of my favorite donovan songs-beloved for so many years. nice timeless video also. so much more than the main retro trash. a real feeling of the complecations of love- over the decades of "love and peace", and so on,.... or within-timeless.
