working on a model of the companion cube from the popular game portal, working with Styrofoam is surprisingly a pain in the but. finding something that works with it without turning it into napalm was difficult. almost all hardening substances like Bondo fiberglass resin most glues like PVC cement all has acetone as a ingredient and that does not work with, but eventually i discovered that plaster works well. but is kinda messy :o

this idea did not work out as well as planned. the sanding process and drimmeling out the finner detail would not work the stuff cracked broke apart too easy and took a very long time to get one tiny area done... 5 min of drimmling to make a ntoicable mark on it
