i love the original scene but the wavy bob over it makes me think of a 90's make my own music video thing, play a pearl jam song with wavy-carpet-bob, add footage of leland dancing, it would be golden.

@ELIAXTRO The special effects are so outdated, but the story is so intricated like a spider web. Sometimes there is barely a trace of the line that links two events.

With just the stain on the carpet it's indeed a far creepier scene. The 90's post-production 'ripple' effect on the image of Bob just kills it.

the image of bob doesn't appear in the u.s. version. and is FAR better.
