Me and my fiance are currently looking for someone to paint the bird on the hood of our 1980 trans, it has a vinyl decal but it just doesn't do this beautiful example of american engineering any justice.

I had the 78 , Awesome car. real great handling car . No guts though. Bought a 68 Charger w a 440 535 hp . Thats a muscle car with no maners at all . Sometimes I miss the T A .. You could drive it in absolute comfort across the country . 77 and 78 were the coolest looking birds I think .

I own a 1977 trans am myself.....the torque is great 325lbft. These cars are choked and it takes hardly anything to make some serious power out of them.
