Cheryn Salazar's Talk Show Appearance on the Sally Jesse Raphael in 1999

Cheryn appeared as a guest on the Sally Jesse Raphael talk show in 1999, along with her husband Michael. Even though the show has been canceled for years in the USA, it is still being shown in reruns in Europe and other parts of the world. Since then, Cheryn has continued to raise awareness in an effort to help others recover emotionally and physically.

this is the first time i have ever found anything on trich on any talk shows. thank you so much for showing this. People need to be more informed about this because this is a real disorder. It's a battle everyday not to pull.

@514turtle lol It's embarassing but I've come to terms with it and I have a system, if the hair is not burnt I do not pull it out. I have told my boyfriend and mom since, they're not sure why I do it but they have admitted me to the mental health clinic haha. I think it's a comfort/nervous reaction I have. You do this too? Don't be ashamed, we all have little quirks, and this isn't even the tip of the ice burg for me. :)

Thanks for coming out with the truth behind trich. Your interview is amazing and you're incredibly brave. Listening to everything you said is exactly how I feel and experiences are very similar. I don't feel alone or scared now. :)
