  • Is this in Open Tuning? Is it Eb

  • @RevolverScot

it may be tuned down a half a step but still in standard tuning (so, if wouldn't call it an "open" tuning as such). i'm not around my guitar right now to check it, but i do tune the martin down half a step quite commonly because i like how it sounds.

  • But is the transition chord in "Long Long Time ago" an E7 (as you play here) or an Eminor!!

    Excellent job btw...

Danny (please have a look at my Beatle covers on my channel BTW)

  • @TheWalrusWasDanny (Cmaj) long long (E7 with b in bass) time a (Amaj) go this gives the nice middle voice an upward scale (g,g) long long (g#,g#) time a (a) go when the bass is going contrary motion (cc,bb,a) don't know if it's *right*, it just feels right. leaving the g natural (by playing the eminor) sounds a little more hollow (though not necessarily wrong)
  • Holy cow! That's amazing! Beatle-ful job! Did you learn that from sheet music, by ear, or did someone teach it to you?

  • i made it up myself by ear. thanks!

  • cant believe how good this is

  • I've been watching troubleclef's videos for about a year now, maybe a little more. it's absolutely incredible to watch and listen to him play. It's a shame fingerstyle isn't more popular.
