the highest torque number on a busa is around 100 lb/ft, and that's around 7k not 14-16k. however i am aware of how hp is calculated at rpm helps multiply the tq to make higher figures-that doesn't make more torque though. Powerband relates to horsepower not torque. That said the busa is one of the highest tq producing bikes because it has one of the largest displacements, many bikes only make 50 to 60 ft/lbs-less than a three cylinder geo metro. That's why I said bikes make no tq.

@gotmatt2 bike engines create no torque i think u need to re think that as a bike engine revs harder has a smaller power band and is meant for higher top speed as they rev up to 14k rpm when a car revs no were neer that actually the engine that people say was in this revs up to 16k rpm with a high powerband at the top topping out close to 200 mph on the original bike . if you still dont believe they have torque check smart car with busa engine

@rsmini Nah, it has a MR2 turbo engine in the back, I spoke to the driver at Avon park after he popped this wheelie. From what I remember they were trying some noz and the driver was pretty surprised when he saw sky on the launch
