I was skeptical of her casting as Reno (because I LOVE Patti's Reno) but I must say she exceeded my expectations for the role. She did an absolutely fantastic job and really brought out a new side of the character. Anyone saying she didn't deserve this clearly didn't see the show. She really is an incredible performer. Every time someone becomes a star in the modern world we have to bag on them for it. I'm sure everyone said Patti could never be as good as Merman when she got the role.

This is so sweet. omfg. It's crazy to think. I met her in 2010 when I was in my high school's performance of Grease. She knew our old director somehow and she was nearby visiting family. She came to one of our rehearsals and talked to us about performing. <3 She's so talented and I am very happy for her :)

The fact that daniel radcliffe presented this in his british accent- "Enathing Goes"- makes her winning even sweeter. i love sutton <3 =)

why are people hating so much on this? You talk a lot of shit, but I don't see any of YOU winning an award.
Ha, she promised Paul Wontorek from broadway.com that she would cry if she won and she pulled it off. She's so awesome.
