Learn about the fast line-up of log splitters at DR Power Equipment here: http://www.drpower.com/logsplitters
The secret to the DR RapidFire Splitter's incredible power is that it harnesses 2 sources of energy: force (or "tonnage") and speed.
As we've seen, conventional hydraulic splitters like this are slow because they depend almost entirely on force.
Now, the RapidFire delivers a powerful force but it delivers it with such SPEED that its force is multiplied. In fact, as you'll soon see it will easily outwork a 34-Ton conventional splitter.
Think of the splitting action as a karate chop. It's the combination of force AND speed that snaps these boards, and the RapidFire delivers a lethal strike every time!
To show what this combination of speed and power means in practical terms, we set up a heavyweight bout:
The DR RapidFire model versus the highest-tonnage conventional splitter we could find - this 34-Ton hydraulic splitter.
We put one operator on each machine and had them go at this wood stack.
And just to be fair, the operators switched sides halfway through, so that any difference in their working paces evened out.
After one hour of splitting we called off the match.
That's it. That's 1 hour. Good job guys. Thanks, appreciate it. The result, well the picture tells the story but here are the numbers. In this corner the DR Rapid Fire Splitter with 382 splits. And in this corner, the competition with 146 splits. Now what does this mean for you?
The RapidFire Splitter outsplit the competition by more than 2 and a half times!
So, in just 1 hour you can split what would take you more than 2 and a half hours to split with a conventional splitter.
And if you split for profit, well, your labor cost can go down by 60%!
Oh, and one other thing. This competitor's unit used 3X as much gas to get its work done. The RapidFire split MORE wood, did it in LESS time, and used only a THIRD of the fuel!
It's your time, so you're the judge of what it's worth. But no matter how you do the math, you come out way ahead with the DR RapidFire Splitter!

  • Let's get the same wood and put an 8lb splitting maul with a 155 pound 44 year old man behind the maul against the rapid fire splitter. I could split both piles of wood in just about an hour. I save money AND time and get an AWESOME workout in order to maintain my health and vitality.

  • I want to see that "rapid fire" split some knotted up hickory. I am not saying it can't but I am saying I saw only easily split blocks of wood in this promo.
