Reid Leads Passage of Job-Creating Military Construction Bill

Nevada Senator Harry Reid today led the passage of a bill that will bring more than $26 million to Nevada for construction projects, creating jobs and supporting the Silver States military. This bill will also provide funding to the Department of Veterans Affairs, ensuring that Nevada veterans continue to receive the benefits and care they deserve. Nevadas military bases and personnel play an important role in protecting our country, said Reid. This bill will provide funding for construction projects that will support Nevadas military while creating good paying jobs so Nevadans can get back to work.
