There's no proof that UCSC students were responsible for the vandalism. The identity of the organizers is still being investigated. Many of us are distraught, looking for answers, retribution. Retribution from events in the last couple of weeks, retribution for this, or retribution even being this. But pointing fingers haphazardly at random groups, especially amidst a haze of anger, is a step backward for all sides.

The so called "Anarchists" are usually people from other places in the country (Midwest usually), who come to Santa Cruz thinking that this is where its at for the whole college anarchist hipster coffe drinking fixie bike bullshit. They hang out at the Sub Rosa Cafe
