i dnt wana sound dumb sir but y do u hav to spray it with steam before baking ? one more thing plz,we dnt use bricks at all in mauritius..is there any chance of building a good oven from stones ? thanks a lot for getting back at me ;)

YES! Lots of Steam. I use a Steam Shark. you can see me use a RED tool around 4:58 in the video... it has a cord attached and does a really good job. thanks for your post.
