Perched on a pinnacle, in a grand canyon, the traffic free village of Civita is Italy's classic hilltown. In a town so full of history, exploring Civita becomes a cultural scavenger hunt. • Too bad it is not so slowly crumbling to the ground. Something must be done to save it!

  • Was there last year. One of the most beautiful places my wife and I have ever been to in our lives.

  • Rick,

What a great video! However, the name of this town is "Civita di Bagnoregio", not just Civita as you tend to call it in the video. I have no doubt that you know the word "Civita" just means "City" in Latin and the locals call it "Bagnoregio". Mislabels like this drive the Italians nuts and will confuse those who don't speak Italian. Image the following conversation...."Dov'e' Civita?" to which any local would reply "Quale Civita?"

  • One of the most interesting places i've ever been.

  • hello on my bruschetta i Ad mozzarella cheese thanks Rick
