We have to believe what we are witnessing with our own eyes -- floods, fires, melting ice and feverish heat. From smoke-choked Moscow to water-soaked Pakistan, to soaring temperatures in the US and a deteriorating landscape in the High Arctic, our planet seems to be having a breakdown. It's not just a portent of things to come but real signs of very troubling climate change already under way.

Please join with the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC) and take action to protect our planet -- it's the only one we have.

"It's time to hold carbon polluters accountable."

It was foolish to put that in this video. We are ALL carbon polluters. We need to work together to overcome the challenges of carbon dioxide pollution. We can do it because many of the world's most powerful businesses want to do it. These include GM, BP, Siemens, Honeywell, Shell, GE, Ford, Dow Chemical, and Chrysler.

We don't need to hurt the economy in order to protect the environment.

I love our natural earth. I cycle everywhere and grow some of my own vegetables. I can see how much you care about our world. I have been interested in climate and weather from a young age, but our world Climate is always changing. what we are seeing now is natural. Start looking at solar cycles and see how this is all happened in the past. Low solar activity effects our jet stream. We are starving poor nations by using food crops for bio fuels. The sad truth is our governments want rid.

What about in the industrial boom in the 1950's? We put tons of CO2 into the atmosphere but the temperature actually went down! There is no relationship between CO2 and average temperature. We put up less than 2% of CO2 in the atmosphere and CO2 makes up less than 1% of the gases in the atmosphere. This IS just a scam and it's got the world fooled. Plus, green energy is WAY more expensive than other energy. When we deny africa energy other than green, we're saying they can't have energy at all.

alarmist nonsense, I am sick of hottest decade on record, hottest week on record and that sort of shit, we could of said that about the eighties or the nineties, instrumental record doesn't go back far enough, medieval warming period was hotter than now, ice at the poles would have been melting then too you know same as now

@Ohhmydreamgreen the issue is that if climate change is not human driven, all the money spent to stop it is wasted. spend money to mitigate the impact but sening mankind back 200 years is not the way to do it.

If all that believed in global warming lets say went to mars, and all the idiots stayed back, the world would be flooded in a decade.

No breakdown, just weather as usual. Pakistan floods almost every year since Mohammed. Soaring temperatures and plunging temperatures are normal weather. Smoke from forest fires and grass fires, especially with stalled weather patterns, has been occurring for hundreds of centuries. This is not global warming, it's weather as usual. And usually weather is unkind. That's what we get for populating a hostile planet. Just a boiling cauldron with a thin skin, that's Gaia. Gaia doesn't love us.

Yes moderator, there has always been flooding, etc. There's more ice in the Arctic than before.

I'm so sick of people saying Globull Warming isn't a scam. What don't you understand? Isn't this present global cooling enough evidence for you? Or do you prefer losing your home to the advancing glaciers? And let's say that global cooling isn't true, would it hurt to increase CO2 to make the earth greener? I don't get your problem, it's probably just stupidity. I honestly believe everybody denying global cooling is either afraid or retarded. Or on the pay of big oil.

More bullshit from the riders of the gravy train. This is not the warmest period in history.

However it is the warmest Uban Heat Island Effect in history. Because the sensors are all at airports on the pavement. Started with 6000 temp. monitoring stations, dumped the rural ones and now reporting from 1600 urban stations. Does this look like warming to you? Or scamming?
