I didn't really make it clear that there were two different fake Creeds that I ran across, one of which has a see through bottle and the other does not. The bottle that I bought from Fragrancenet.com IS an authentic bottle. One of the fakes, which was the "Green Frich Tweed", I was able to return to the sender for a refund.

If you look at the BOTTOM surface of the bottle of Green Irish Tweed, it will have moulded into the actual glass the very fine, and barely visible words Paris, Made in France and Creed with the cross. You may have to wet the bottom of the bottle to see this, or rub it with a cloth to make it visible. If you have a fine sense of touch, you will be able to actually feel the embossment of these letters. You can tell an actual Creed bottle in the dark, blindfolded, by feel alone.
I buy original Creed perfumes on eBay: search "allshewants" seller. I 've bought several times and all Creeds are 100% originals. Sometimes they are tester but the seller always make it clear if it is the case. I have just received my last order, here in Italy: Erolfa and the sublime (for me) Green Irish Tweed.
those are definitely fake. if you find a $200 bottle of cologne for $100 AND its at a dingy little place, it's not genuine. creed only sells their fragrances to high end boutiques and places like Neiman Marcus.
Anyone who would purchase expensive cologne on EBay or in Chinatown/Koreatown is asking to get fooled. Also, the kiosks at shopping malls that always have Indian guys working at them sell questionable Creed as well. I don't know if it is fake or watered down, but in the mall, they sell it for $100/bottle and won't let you smell it before buying it. It seems like these people get away with it every time on EBay or in the malls, which is frustrating.
