This is a reply on a book written by Wade W. Nobles called "African Psychology; towards its Reclamation, Reascension and Revitalization" Would like to start a discussion on this chapter if anyone has read it, and/or if anyone knows of this subject.
@showmetexas i agree but now we have to decide what world we want to leave for future generations. people can't be blaimed for being born as a wise man once said aka alan watts but we can heal the world and each other if we seek to see others as we really are one life one people what connects us is more than blood.
Continued... even though we have all failed our grandchildren (motherland), I also agree with what you said that we have to accept and not judge. No disrespect to your religious beliefs (whatever they may be), but this is all spoken in the bible. No matter your spiritual belief or mine, there is one truth and no matter the source of the truth for you or me, the truth is the same.
You're right that we have lost touch with nature, the earth, the spirit & much that we are. We have become lost in fleshly desires. I, being an American, know more of the history of the Native Americans so I relate to how they lived (even though I am mostly European blood). The Native Americans had a saying that they are only borrowing the land from their grand children. When you borrow something you leave it in the same condition that you received it. Who among us will do that? None.
