I like this video the people against animals in a zoo where would they go in the wild? Poachers are still out there and sanctuary's are not safe from them yet.

@Cyberscribe100 They shouldn't have to die there in the first place for peoples entertainment this is just entertainment. It is no different from a circus. Ok I'm from canada and just looked up little rock zoo and their slogan is "real live entertainment" :( Well that is good they have made the right decision not to have more elephants please show your kids the sanctuary videos I think those are cooler than seeing ellys standing in one spot on some concrete.

@sohcsarewicked If you support Elephant sanctuaries and the decline of elephants in zoos then I believe you will be happy to know that the Little Rock Zoo will most likely not have Elephants at the zoo after the death of Mary and Ellen, our two elderly Asian Elephants. I'm sure that most treatment of elephants in zoos are not as bad as people believe but Elephants simply do not belong in zoos unless they are part of a herd and have ample space and care.

Meh, the polar bears did die of rather stupid things on part of care takers but really it's been what two years three years now and they still haven't gotten the only one left some type of company? That poor thing always looks bored to death trying to do something stimulating in that enclosure.

trevordd where do you get your information from? Animals die everyday in the wild to. It is the circle of life. You must be one of those weird freaky ida extremists who gets all your information from unreliable internet sources. They did not mistreat Clara. They had to go through years of training to work with elephants. The keepers devoted there life to elephants because they love them. HA I would know because I know several elephant keepers. SO shut your idiotic mouth. They have a great life.
