We do not want to outlaw divorce and caffeine. In some cases Divorce is necessary as well as how caffeine can be overused; a man must overcome addiction. Surely you would believe that a God who is loving would not want your physical body to be harmed through cigarettes, alcohol. Surely when God created the Earth and brought forth Adam and Eve to be the parentage of mankind, you would see why we do not practice homosexuality. Our Faith is in Christ. Save your complaints toyourself

The Kyiv Ukraine Temple, majestic in its setting of large apartment buildings, is evoking thoughtful comments from many who are attending the open house.

@GLBTsovereign Alright Mr. Negative, you take fools like yourself that believe in that crap and then compare them to others that do not partake of them! And no, if someone needs a divorce, then so be it! Your skepticism and lack of knowledge of our faith as a whole has clouded your point of view and has lead you to anger and to wasting your time on such bull crap. You go around mocking and discriminating our beliefs, but do you see faithful members doing this to your church? OF COURSE NOT!!!!!!!

Now that's refreshing!

@lds9999 Whether it is right or not as well?

But in the last days it shall come to pass, that the mountain of the house of the Lord shall be established in the top of the mountains, and it shall be exalted above the hills; and people shall flow unto it.
Micah 4:1-5

This becomes even more important when you are surrounded daily with profanity, socially accepted immorality, immodesty, pornography, and other inappropriate material in the media, including television and the Internet, and widespread availability of drugs and alcohol. In a word, not a day goes by that we are not asked, in one form or another, "Who's on the Lord's side? Who?" I have two simple suggestions to help you prepare your answer to that question.
Mormons are fascists, attempting to take over the US government. Proposition 8 was the start, eventually, they will attempt to outlaw divorce, tea, caffeine, cigarettes, alcohol, homosexuality, and everything else against their faith.
Look at the laws they are still attempting to blanket over all of Utah.

In my church in 2008 there were 30 marriages, 9 of them between same-sex couples. The 4 same-sex marriages I know of that were planned for after November 4 had to be cancelled because the Mormons told us we could no longer celebrate this sacrament in our own church. They said the same to scores of other churches and synagogues across my state.
"Conspiracy'" lds9999? I don't think so. Just plain old brute force. Forcing your neighbor to obey your belief.
Whose church will you invade next?

There were many, many other churches aligned with the LDS Church in the defense of marriage.

lds9999, I stopped using the excuse that "others did it too" when I was 5.
Your Prophet initiated this jihad in the late 90's. Mormons paid well over half the cost of funding Prop 8.
I ask again, whose church will you invade next?

And what you seem to forget is that the action was taken by the people of California. Yes, the majority.
Absolutely the Church played a role with that, along with many other churches, along with many other civic groups, along with millions of Californians.
We will stand for what we believe in, whether it is popular or not.
