LIFE AFTERLIFE takes an intriguing look at the eternal question: Is there life after death? And if so, can we communicate with the dead? Through personal stories from everyday people who claim they've made contact with deceased friends and relatives, to self-proclaimed mediums, to philosophers and scientists who've dedicated their lives to these issues, this film examines the fact and fantasy of the last great frontier. The documentary was produced and directed by Lisa F. Jackson. Executive producers are Linda Ellerbee and Rolfe Tessem.

This was an HBO Special that is absolutely worth watching TO THE END. If you do nothing else, AT LEAST watch parts 8 and 9. It brought me to tears and gave me extreme hope and relief!!

to believe that each life born from our mother's utmost love doesn't have reason is ludicrous. we are all connected we have a reason we are all beautiful and we will all meet again when our spirits have evolved. We suffer now for the knowledge we acquire after this life. Life doesn't end but it changes

The "Afterlife" is an oxymoron. How can there be life after life? When your brain dies you don't exist anymore. Sorry, no magical fun park to go to, that's it. I believe I'll exist again, though .... you know why, because I existed once .... who's to say that I won't exist again in some other life form??

but i have tasted what the void feels like its an obsession to understand death....i understand exactly what it is....i just dont want to be in it....we all go to the void, understanding it is depressing, even the taste and constant obsession....i am allmost at a point where it will draw me into wanting to see the void(like VAn Gogh)....and thats a path i dont want to take on...yet

But make no mistake The VOID is what awaits us, it is the ultimate truth and pain killer

to make what i am saying more valid...it is easy to try seeing the void each time you sleep....i admit i have not captured it willingly each time i sleep....trying to capture and comprehend the VOID is pointless, it is impossible to comprehend the void....or eternity, same thing...when you sleep, you get a taste of what eternity feels like...however only at the points your not dreaming...that is what the VOID is...and what Death is....just doesnt last long enough for me to be able to grasp it
