Ok now, this is a clip that I recorded in 1080i, and it is the first time, that I managed to work on such a clip on my computer.

It'S not that easy with the Sanyo HD1000 files. Little sad thing is, that it looses a lot of its sharpness when you transfer it in the youtube size. The original looks way better.

I'm so impressed you good the colours come out. Well, yes I know, I have to work on zooming and not shaking all the time :).

  • The reason why the zooming of the church's clock quality was so superb is because it's a sheet of paper. Look at the right hand side, a whole area that's white and straight.

  • What do you mean, it's a sheet of paper? The white white thing, when I'm zooming out is a nother house.

  • @Thokko HAHAHAHAHAHAHHAAHAAA way

  • @desmondjy i had the same problem aswell. i use a programe called pinnicale to edit my videos and ive noticed that recording on full hd always makes the clip lag. what i decided to do was take it down to

hd-shq 1280x720 30fps and it ran smoothly. remember u do need a powerful pc or laptop for a hd camcorder. i have a pretty powerful laptop but i still dont see why it lags in full hd?? hmmmm. ur comment was 6 months ago so if uve found out by now plz let me know also ;)

  • Hi, i got the same camcorder but when i export to my computer the video lags really bad. It gets chop of every few seconds. May i know how you get the video running smoothly? I'm using sdhc card, recording in full hd and yes, my comp can support HD videos. Please help =(

  • one more thing, the sound isnt top notch when hooked up to my SDtv but it only has one channel for the sound on the SD hookup, and the playback sound lvl is low, I would imagine that any MP3 on it wouldnt sound very good with out headphones (ear buds were included in my package). I have seen videos of attached mics, but I have not seen a spot on my VPC-HD1000 where I could plug in a mic anyway.

  • as far as quirks go, you can expect, but not limited too, difficulty focusing, small buttons for any finger smaller than that of a tiny womans, i recorded my first clip today, (I just got it) and watched the clip, and the sound wasnt sinking up, I think maybe because i am not useing a SDHC card? Also, there is a nighttime/low light setting but its not nightvision by any means. It is a good camera for the price, these quirks are managable, but can be frusturating. Overall, I am happy so far.

  • Thanks so much. I really want it now. Any good/bad points you would be able to point out to me? Thanks

  • great, i have taht camera too ;)
