Dustin Chayyaigym faces off against a talented young boxer from the revered Muay Sangha camp.
We chose this as our fight of the year not ONLY because of Dustin's display of a broad range of Muay Thai techniques but because he showed an indomitable Muay Thai warrior spirit. This is the courage, resilience and attitude we like to see in all of our fighters.
Dustin "lost" this fight by a very questionable decision. We'll concede that the fight was close and that the Thai fighter won the fourth round, which is arguably the most important round in Thailand.
On the other hand, Dustin landed more punches, kicks, knees, elbows and takedowns than his opponent. In any other venue, the result would be clear.
This was a great fight by both fighters! Enjoy the show! We're proud of you Dustin!
