off hand I will guess that heavy club swing would greatly improve their saber swing to the point where the sword would slice half thou a man's body if not take his head off

I've been training with my own home made clubs for about five years now, and throwing a heavy club like that up in the air still seems like something I am not strong enough to do. But it does give me something to look forward to trying. This is a great video! Thanks for uploading it!

Enter "Iron Sheik Swing" in youtube search engine....You can use dumbell with weight on one end, that's how I do mine, can't find real ones to buy. In the Iron Sheik Swing vid, he uses a metal club made by a metalworker.

This is brilliant. There's Indian (Bengali) movie called World of Apu that shows an Indian man working out witha massive club. It looked like really good exercise. Does anybody out there know if where to practice this art in New York City?
