4 The staff were rude and shifty and managed to not return my key deposit for the safe, which was at reception. There was no in room safe.

5 The location isn't very good. There a few things round there but it's miles from the beach or main nightlife.

I can understand people liking it, but from the time I arrived to the time I left I was continually being irritated by one thing or another in there, especially that phone.

2 The cleaner on each floor had a single central telephone by the lifts which were the loudest, shrillest phones I've ever heard and would go off any time 24/7 when a cleaner was needed. Naturally, this was often in the early hours when people checked out. So every morning I was woken by this screaming phone.

3 The restaurant was not nice and the breakfast buffet was too nasty looking to eat.

It was 4 years ago, so maybe it's improved. The hotel was clean enough, though the bathroom smelled a bit.

Problems I had were:

1 Floor in room had been raised so I kept hitting my head in the bathroom doorway + jagged wood carving on the wall by the bed kept cutting my head. So I always had cuts on my head, which didn't help my mood.

@tw25rw there are a lot of good reviews for this hotel, can you tell me why did you hate it? I am planning to go next year and I'm looking to book a hotel in Pattaya.

I hated that hotel. Ghastly experience.
