  • Hate this light. I have a 2008 Sienna and the light is on. Checked all tire pressures INCLUDING the spare. Filled to correct pressures. Did the reset button and the light still stays on. I know the tire pressures are okay, but the light is very annoying. I wouldn't mind disabling it if someone knows how.

  • @paflyfish My guess is that you have a bad sensor if the light does not go out. On a Sienna you need to have the tire pressures set at 35 psi. It is not uncommon for a sensor to go bad if moisture or fix a flat went through the sensor. Also these have non-replaceable batteries that go dead and a new sensor is about $125 plus labor to program into the computer.

  • Does this work the same for 2006 Toyota 4Runner? Please advise.

    thanks!

  • @AJuarez764 On a 4Runner there is no reset button. All 5 tires must be at the correct pressure and the light will go out . This INCLUDES the SPARE TIRE... The light may take up to 15 minutes to go out. If the light does not go out, you probably have a bad sensor in one of the tires.

  • Hello. Would you please post a video on how to reset the tire pressure light on a 2008 Toyota solar a. I have tried several methods from different models, but it just does not work. Thank you

  • Hey Dave, I appreciate this video. I just reset my tire pressure light in my Toyota Solara. I had been driving around with it on for months and months. The dealership couldn't get it to stay off, so I hope it works this time.

  • I have Avalon 2007 and the Tire Pressure Light is always on I tried on my Avalon but not worked, what is the solution.

  • @smartpassive Ouch! Thanks for the info. The tires are new, but one Michelin got a hole and tire was replaced. For $125 & labor I think I can live with the light. I check the tires regularly on all of our families cars.

  • @smartpassive I'm not a fix-a-flat fan.

  • @jogga123 That is true. Also I have seen fix-a-flat ruin these sensors when put in the tire. Same with an air hose with excessive moisture in it. The sensor is part of the valve stem and sometimes they do go bad.

  • lexus are really complicated need special tool to reset them
