  • the reason the bird cage is solid on the botom is so if your in prone you dont have dust flying everywhere when you shoot from the muzle blast

  • Also no ports on bottom for a low dust profile from a tactical standpoint.

  • @birdman117BxR also there is no ports on the bottom because it forces the air to go up and help keep muzzle rise down.

  • Muzzle rise is the primary use of a compensator. A flash hider is just that.
