It's funny now that I think about no RTS back then or even earlier was tailored for competitive play. but I think now we're going to start seeing more and more have a competitive scene. The only RTS I can really think of at the moment would be DOW 2 (or Dawn of war 2 ) and that still has a lot of ruff edges But yeah it would be awesome if more RTS's became more and more tailored for competitive play.

So cool to watch this about a year later when we know what happened and I really got to give props to Artosis and Tasteless those were some pretty damn good predictions. One thing I would point out is that the Warcraft 3 players, especially in Europe are rising to the top a bit quicker then Artosis thought.

Peaceful, defensive militias should recruit players of this caliber. Alexander the Great did not know combat strategy the way some of these guys do today. They didn't make nearly as much war as StarCraft players do.
