Also interesting that the winningest American player of all time (in official U.S. tour victories) took two years from the time he started playing full-time to win his first tournament. If Woods catches him for total wins, I'll believe Woods is a better player when he beats guys the quality of Nelson and Hogan to do it.

One correction on the video: It was in 1979, not 1977, that Snead shot his age and then bettered it at Quad Cities. I mean, just imagine any tour player today coming out at 67 and doing something like that. It's just mind-boggling.

I would ask if it worked--because I could use it too, if it did--but I saw photos from not long before he passed on, and he was still bald as a doorknob. Dangit. I guess you don't get that swing and a full head of hair, too.
