My wife and I were leaving Her Dad's house in what would be the last time we ever saw him. Bill had been ill for several months prior to being on Hospice care.

The song "Rain" came on as we left for home. With heavy hearts the song began, and so did the rain. As it played, it rained harder and harder, as our tears flowed into weeps. It became Bills' "song."

I do not see the value of these comments being repeated a 100 times on the same video and although some replies I have gotten from this comment were actually nice to read, in retrospect I shouldn't have posted this comment either, since it hasn't got more value than those I wanted to attack.

I actually did not mean to sound superior, special or hipster. I was genuinely surprised when I could only read comments about the tv-shows this song was on. I have seen this trend with a lot of music videos and it is actually becoming quite annoying. Where you'd rather find comments about the artist or song, you now find 100 comments saying the same thing, that is "like if (insert tv-show) brought you here" or "i have found this because of (insert tv-show)".

To associate this with a mere T.V. show (no matter HOW awesome) misses the point. Patty Griffin is the best lyricist since (or perhaps before) The Beatles.
